During the singing of the Salve the Provincial blessed the community with holy water.

After the Salve a short collect is prayed asking for Mary's intercession in our lives.

About 70 Dominican Friars were present for the Vestition.

After the Salve, the friars process to the Cloister Garden and gather around the fish pond to sing the anthem O Lumen Ecclesiae in honor of Saint Dominic.

After the O Lumen Ecclesiae was finished, Fr. Anthony Rosevear, the Master of Novices, said a prayer asking for Saint Dominic's intercession and then the community retired to the Community Room for a special party to welcome the new novices to the Western Dominican Province!
