The Annual Ladies Night Dinner

in honor of Liz Clarke

A gracious and genteel custom at Holy Rosary Parish is The Annual Ladies Night Dinner. Held every year in early December, the Ladies Dinner was started by our own Liz Clarke. She recently lost her struggle against cancer and died. Therefore, this year's Ladies' Night Dinner on December 7/8, 2001, was dedicated to her memory. The husbands and other important males in the community serve the women a wonderful catered dinner. Each table is hosted by a different person or group and they try to outdo each other in the splendor of their decorations. After Dinner, entertainment is provided. Unfortunately, the battery in yours truly's camera ran out of juice before all of the evening's photos could be taken. Oh well, that just means that I will have to return for Saturday evening's dinner and try again!!!

Have a wonderful holiday season!

Now ladies, remember, not too much hooch tonight!!!

Let's see what the other tables did for decoration, which are ok, but ours is best!!!

I wonder who got the most butter here???

No, drink from your own glass; this is my hooch!!!

Ok, after this is over let's blow this joint and head for McD's!!!

Where is that waiter??? I'm hungry and if he doesn't get here soon there will be NO tip!!!
