Jose Morgan -- Deacon Candidate!!!

 

A month ago some parishioners journeyed to Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Pleasanton for a special afternoon liturgy presided over by Bishop John Cummins of Oakland. Bishop Cummins accepted a number of men in the Diocese of Oakland to begin formal preparation for ordination as Deacons. It was a bright and sunny afternoon and a blessing for the Diocese and for our own parish as one of our own, Jose Morgan, was formally accepted as a candidate for ordination as Deacon. Though there are still some years of study ahead before ordination, we excited that Jose has taken this step and we look forward to his ministry a deacon.
